“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.”

Summary: Jesus, called “the Word,” existed before creation. He was with God and is fully God. This verse reminds us that Jesus is eternal—not merely a teacher or prophet, but our Lord and Creator. We can trust Him because He has always been and will always be.
